Built with an investment of RMB 300 million and covers a land area of 125 hectares, the grandiose 18-hole par 72 championship CITIC Shantou Golf Club is the first club to use original eagle grass. It is designed by Pearson Golf Design – a world leading golf course design company. A new 9-hole links course, a villas compound for members and a fitness & recreation center are being planned as extension and supplements to the existing course.
The club is located on the north foot of Futou Hill in Shantou. It is 20 minutes’ drive along Shenzhen-Shantou Expressway from the inner city of Shantou, 280 kilometers along Shenzhen-Shantou Expressway from Hong Kong via Shenzhen, 220 kilometers south of Xiamen along No.324 National Highway and 30 kilometers from Chaozhou and Jieyang along No. 206 National Highway.
A 3-star international tourist hotel, the CITIC Resort Hotel is a supplementary facility to the CITIC Shantou Golf Club, providing seaside villas, comfy and superbly standard guest rooms and suites, conference halls and meeting rooms, business center, Chinese restaurant as well as a full range of recreation facilities.
