Kunming Country Golf Club started its construction in 1995. It is an 18-hole par 72 championship golf course completing with a full range of facilities such as a clubhouse, tennis courts and swimming pool etc. The golf course was designed by Les Watts – the famous Australian golf course architect, making full use of the landform and in perfect harmony with the surrounding scenery. The fairways of the course cover a total distance of 6,400 meters with four long distance ones (500m long), four short ones (below 200m) and 10 medium ones (300 – 400m).
The club was opened in 1997. It has ushered in a brand new life style for successful people from all circles of the society with its vitality and attractiveness.
